Little Muddy Boots Ascot Review

The classes are held in St George’s Ascot school  grounds on Wednesday and Friday mornings.  Designed and tailored especially for pre-schoolers, my daughter is 2 years and my son is nearly 4 and starts school in September and they both loved the class equally, and engaged with all the activities.

The class was really relaxed and fun. We arrived to a plot of land surrounded by colourful bunting and with lots and lots things to explore. The children were encouraged to run around, water the plants, dig in the mud, and explore the nature garden at their own pace.

We had fun learning about the different types of trees, searching for bugs under logs (Isabella loved holding the bugs which we found) The children learnt about different herbs and were also able to plant some during the class too, and did some finger print painting.

Ending the session with a little campfire and toasted marshmallows to make some smores – it was the perfect end to a fun morning at Little Muddy Boots.

The children engaged in lots of activities all whilst learning about nature and the environment – it’s the perfect way for them to learn without realising it’s a lesson. Learning through play is so valuable as it motivates, stimulates and supports children in their development of skills, concepts, language acquisitions/communication skills and concentration.
