If you are looking for a huge space to go for a walk whilst the kids run and climb and explore then Hughenden Park ticks a lot of boxes.
This part of Hughenden is actually separate to the National Trust site and is one of my favourite places to meet up with friends and their children.

Big Playground For All Ages
The playground is a good size and has mostly wooden equipment for all ages. It includes swings, sunken trampolines, climbing frames, unusual swings, rockers, balance trails and more.
It also has a rather vicious zip wire!
It was super muddy when I visited for these photos so I am sure it has dried out by now!
Space to Run
The park is vast and has lines of trees, a river, bridges and trees to climb. My children have paddled in the river many times and even crawled under the bridges (obviously please keep an eye on your children whenever near water.)
In Spring the daffodils really are stunning as they are like a blanket around the edges of the park.
The park is on a slope so great to tire out little legs!
I believe you can access this park from the Hughenden Manor driveway but I haven’t tried it.
We park in Coates Lane where there is a small car park. You can park along the road but please be considerate as this has been a big problem in the past with dangerous parking on corners which makes driving and passing a bit dodgy.
What is Nearby?
You are one road away from Morrisons and Sainburys and also a cheeky McDonalds if you are having a little day out and need to grab a bite to eat. We sometimes end our park trip with a drive thru and a snooze in the car for the youngest! I would say that is a win.
