Highfield and Brookham is an independent, co-educational Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School in Liphook for boys and girls aged 2-13, nestled on the leafy borders of Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey. At Highfield and Brookham, our teaching looks beyond the core curriculum to skills learnt through a diverse range of co-curricular activities. We recognise that children’s ability can be revealed across a range of different activities, not just in traditional academic subjects and we encourage children to find their passion, something they truly enjoy, and watch them flourish as they learn and develop new skills doing something they love. Sport, music, drama, art and DT are the foundation of our co-curricular programme and each subject gives real opportunities for pupils to find their niche, take charge of their own development and foster new skills and abilities across a wide range of activities.

Boarding
Boarding at Highfield and Brookham is extremely popular but also completely optional. Our boarding provision has always been an integral part of the prep school and perhaps the continued popularity reflects how well we do it. Our flexible contemporary boarding provision means that we can offer something that suits most families. We offer everything from two nights per week to the ever-popular full boarding experience.

We have strong ties with over 30 senior schools, both day and boarding, local and national, and ensure a seamless transition to senior schools for our children Highfield and Brookham has an impressive record of scholarships to prestigious senior schools, recognising excellence in academic ability, Sport, Music, Arts and all-round talent. Indeed, over the last three years, children from Highfield and Brookham have been awarded 65 scholarships to top senior schools.
