DJ’s Play Zone in Berkhamsted offer a great combination of indoor soft play and now also a new role play area. We were invited to the opening of the new role play lane at DJ’s Play Zone and it did not disappoint. The role play lane was so lovely and the boys had an absolute blast ‘working’ in all the different shops
There was plenty to do;
- a construction yard
- a shop including a post office
- a cafe
- a fire station
- a garage
- a vets
- a salon
- a road with a petrol pump and some vehicles including an ice cream van
and the cutest little picnic table set up!
The boys spent a lot of time building a wall, playing shops, fixing a motorbike and of course being in the fire station. They loved the dress up clothes and all the props. I was also treated to a pamper session in the salon.
Now back to the soft play! We haven’t actually been to the Play Zone in Berkhamsted before but yesterday was the opening of an extension to their soft play climbing frames to include a new castle that was epic.
The soft play included so many activities throughout. We spent ages at the ball shooters, Parker loved the bouncy stepping stones and bridge and we had fun playing on the interactive wall lights game.
The rest of the soft play was fab, there are dedicated under 2 and under 4 areas. The under 2 area also includes a sweet little dark baby sensory room which Matilda loved!
There are 3 slides to chose from (FYI these are super fast for grown ups ), a basketball/football area, a ball pit with a suction machine and tons of spaces to climb and explore.
The soft play was incredibly clean and in amazing condition, there is lots of seating (both upstairs and downstairs), a lovely well stocked cafe (I’d recommend the brownies!) and plenty of parking.
We had a great morning and I would definitely recommend a visit if you haven’t been before.
