When the weather in the UK is grey and dull, it’s only natural to want to seek out somewhere further afield for some much-needed sunshine. Sicily in Italy
Forgo the tourist crowds of the Amalfi coast and venture further south to Sicily instead. The beaches here are sun-drenched and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea is crystal-clear. Sicily is especially appealing to history lovers, with plenty of Greek and Roman temples to see. To top it off, Sicily offers some fantastic wines that you won’t commonly find elsewhere.
